Global Breakthrough is a phenomenon all over the world that sees clubs, artists and promoters coming together to produce events on a rather grand scale.
A Global Breakthrough spectacular is currently going down at venues all around Cape Town with really impressive line-up's that include some of the biggest names in electronic music. Check out the e-book here.
Most of it is, shall we say, aimed at a European mainstream crowd (read pitched up BPM), however there are some real highlights, including Ame on Wednesday (in an aquarium!) and German minimal electro genius Steve Bug (Poker Flat recordings/Dessous) on Friday (in the lions den at the old Zoo!!!)
I still don't know if I can know that Steve Bug is playing in SA and not go.
